Christine and Hojean had their engagement session on a chilly October day at Topsmead State Forest in Litchfield, CT. We almost rescheduled because in true New England style, the weather was unpredictable. Leftover rain and wind from Hurricane Ian were threatening the forecast all week but at the last minute, we decided to go for it! Luckily, the weather held and the breeze added such a gorgeous effect in Christine's hair, wisping it in the just the right way to be romantic and dreamy. Christine and Hojean are originally from California and got to experience the beginning of the fall foliage (and cold weather!) in New England. They were thrilled to see touches of orange and red in the surrounding trees.... and so was I! How adorable are they together?! For the second half of their session, Christine and Hojean changed into traditional Korean outfits to honor their culture and heritage. The outfits were so silky and beautiful! I love when couples incorporate something special and meaningful into their session. Here are some of my favorites!
